Siemens Laid Off 16,750 Employees



On the morning of Tuesday, the telephone company Siemens, which is in serious financial problems, announced the completion of 16,750 jobs in the administrative and sales around the world with the idea to reassure its investors with a new restructuring plan .

Now, a few hours later, it appears that the company plans have been made against them because their actions had a significant fall and the possibility of a strike is growing rapidly whereas layoffs represent 4.1% of all employees of signature .

Speaking about the dismissals, the CEO of Siemens, Peter Losch, said the speed at which they are changing the business has grown considerably, and must orient Siemens towards a new future, which should overcome the obstacle of a global economy affected by the increase in the price of commodities.
